ABOUT

Hello, I'm Kristy.  I'm a qualified Nutritional Therapist and first-time mother. My mission is to use the latest evidence-based nutrition to guide and help you to support you and your family. I have a special focus on nutrition for women for pregnancy and onwards, infants and children (including introducing babies to solids, allergies and fussy eaters).

After many years trying to juggle a demanding job in central London and a life outside, I no longer had the drive I once had and felt completely exhausted. Instead of turning up the volume, as I always did, I decided to take a step back and look at what I could do to get back to my old self. I grew up in a very sporty family, with two brothers and a mother who always cooked homemade food. I went back to basics and became fascinated with how nutrition and physical activity can support wellbeing.  It was through diet that I gradually started to gain energy, felt more focused than ever and regained that feeling of wellbeing. Nutrition fascinated me so much that I set about changing career and after three years of study (at the Institute for Optimum Nutrition in London), a wedding and a baby, I qualified as a Nutritional Therapist. Since then, I have completed additional training in Children's Nutrition.

My belief is that with the right information and willingness, positive changes in diet and lifestyle can support our health and wellbeing.

Case studies

Kristy has worked with women throughout pregnancies, postnatally and with babies and children.

Helen

Helen wanted to prepare her body for pregnancy and improve her energy levels. Using advanced functional testing to detect nutritional deficiencies, Kristy worked with Helen throughout her pregnancy and postnatally.

"I feel in control of my body and what I put into it. Having the knowledge of what foods I should be eating has really helped me make conscious decisions and stop reaching for the biscuits!"

MARGOT

Margot sought the help of nutritional therapy to address her afternoon energy slumps and the fast food and convenience rut she had got into with her young family upon returning to work after a three year break.

"I feel back to ‘me’ again. Kristy has given me the confidence to change my habits and cook real food for my family."

Marita

"For the first time since having my two little girls (aged 1 and 3) I’ve got energy that lasts throughout the day and I am no longer bloated or tired."

Josh (age 4)

Josh was a picky eater and had narrowed his food choice down to 5 foods and was heavily reliant on milk. Over several months of Skype consultations, Josh made great progress and was able to eat a greater range of foods.

"Kristy held my hand the whole way and was very patient throughout the whole process. Meal times are now something we all look forward to rather than dread."
